De scooter die een mix lijkt te zijn tussen een cross-over en een scooter, zou het de gevestigde orde in de maxi-scooter klasse nog wel eens knap lastig weten te maken. Hij is voorzien van een 2-cilinder motorblok welke we ook al kennen van de bekende NC750 modellen, zoals bijvoorbeeld de Integra. Gekoppeld aan de perfecte DCT-versnellingsbak met dubbele koppeling, moet het op het gebied van rijbeleving dan ook wel goed zitten. Al blijft dat gissen want we hebben er nog geen meter mee gereden. Wat we wel kunnen beoordelen is het uiterlijke vertoon, dit is gewoon prima op orde en bovendien net weer even wat anders dan dat we in deze klasse gewend zijn. Honda probeert met de nieuwe X-ADV kopers weg te kapen bij de populaire Yamaha TMAX, als dat geen leuke vergelijkingstest kan opleveren? Op de Honda stand zagen we verder licht wijzigingen bij de SH modellen en tevens de SH Mode.
