Sinds 2002 ondersteunt SIP Scootershop<\/a> verschillende maatschappelijke instellingen onder het motto “SIP AID – Scooter Riders Help”. Eerder deze maand heeft SIP scootershop dan ook \u20ac 3.000 gedoneerd aan het goede doel MARY’S MEALS.<\/p>\n

SIP Scootershop doneert \u20ac3.000.<\/h4>\n

De simpele visie van Mary’s Meals is dat elk kind elke dag een maaltijd op school krijgt en dat degenen die meer hebben dan ze nodig hebben, delen met degenen die zelfs niet de basisbehoeften van het leven hebben. \u201cKinderen die hongerlijden staan \u200b\u200bcentraal in ons werk. We voorzien ze van een warme maaltijd waar we ze ook aantreffen. Tegelijkertijd proberen we op termijn een einde te maken aan hun honger. Dat doen we in gemeenschap met iedereen die onze visie deelt.” Magnus MacFarlane-Barrow, oprichter en directeur van dit goede doel.<\/p>\n

Waarom Mary’s Meals?<\/h3>\n

Mary’s Meals zorgt elke schooldag voor een warme maaltijd aan honderdduizenden van ‘s werelds armste kinderen. Door voedsel en scholing kunnen kinderen ontsnappen aan de spiraal van ellende en armoede. De hulporganisatie, opgericht in 1992, heeft de visie dat ieder kind elke dag een maaltijd op school krijgt. Momenteel voedt het goede doel ongeveer 1,3 miljoen kinderen in Afrika.<\/p>\n
